Day 1Drive to Taplejung via Suketar (From Kathmandu or Kakarvitta)

  • Start early morning drive from Kathmandu (approx. 16–18 hrs over 2 days) or Kakarvitta (approx. 10–12 hrs) via Birtamod, Phidim, and Suketar.
  • En route, enjoy lush green tea gardens, hillside villages, and winding mountain roads.
  • Stop at Phungling Bazaar or Suketar for meals and rest.
  • Reach Kafle Pati for overnight stay (depending on arrival time and road condition).

🔹 Evening at leisure to rest and prepare for the trek next day.

Day 2Hike/Drive to Pathivara Temple & Darshan

  • Early morning drive or hike to Kaflepati, the base point of the Pathivara trail.
  • Begin your moderate trek  uphill through rhododendron forests and stone steps to the Pathivara Devi Temple.
  • Reach the sacred temple, perform puja, offerings, and prayers amidst cool mountain breezes and sweeping Himalayan views.
  • After darshan, descend back to Kaflepati and return to taplejung by late afternoon.

🔹 Optional stop at Sano Pathivara, if time permits.

Day 3Return Journey to Kathmandu / Kakarvitta

  • After breakfast, begin your return drive back to Kakarvitta or Kathmandu.
  • Scenic route through mid-hill towns and riverside villages.
